Johanna Blaisdell

 Johanna has been a lover of fitness classes since age 16 and enjoyed a variety of styles until she became a fitness instructor in 1992 and then a personal trainer in 1997. She has 25 years teaching experience in all types of classes from low impact, body pump, boot camp, and spinning. Johanna appreciates the release of energy in movement but something was missing. Traumatic life events helped her to see that inner healing work and meditation was needed to achieve whole body health. She became a Reiki Master and then found her way to yoga. She received her RYT 200 with Michelle Itzkowitz of Innerglow Yoga in Mashpee. Johanna is also a Registered Dental Hygienist and has taken advanced training for myofascial release and orofacial myology, which specializes in head and neck pain, swallowing disorders and airway management. She enjoys combining her knowledge of anatomy with a mind body and spirit connection by allowing space to move and breathe with intention. Her classes combine moderate Hatha, gentle vinyasa with meditation, and restorative with Reiki and facial massage.
